+ You provide so many DIY resources on your site, how in the world do you make money?
First of all, I encourage my clients to know what is going on in their business. Sometimes "Doing It Yourself is the way". However, many of them have found that dealing with the day-to-day tasks of bookkeeping or website maintainence is not their "cup of tea". They soon realize they would much rather go after the sale than to spend hours on things that simply bore them. The most effective manager is one who does not micro-manage, but one who knows when to delegate.
Secondly, I have the expertise and experience. Several clients have stopped using my services and came back in a couple of years after getting in trouble with the IRS, receiving sub-par service, or paying another organization three times the amount for the same service and/or information I provided. These are now my most loyal clients.
Finally, the information is out there. I simply make it easier for my clients or prospective clients to find it in one place.
